Jack & Jill Party and Wedding Thank you Notes

My lovely bride Kara is another one of my favorites. Always so appreciative and on top of it all. Her wedding is fast approaching and she asked if I could create thank you cards for her Jack & Jill party (with her pineapple theme) and her wedding (with her cymbidium orchid theme). So we took the designs from the original invitation designs and applied it to her thank you cards. Here are how the designs turned out.
I love it when brides have the budget to order multiple things to create a consistent look and feel for their wedding. She's getting married at this great outdoor venue close to where they live. She's doing her favors and table cards and hair flowers with me as well. We're doing 3 types of favors, orange hibiscus, orange cymbidium orchids and little wooden turtles with mini hibiscus flowers. All in her colors of peacock teal and orange! Even though she's getting married on the East Coast, she's having a lot of Hawaiian influences with her favors, table cards names, etc. Just so happens they'll be honeymooning in Maui!

Anyway, more samples to share as her wedding gets closer. I definitely love my sweet, fun and appreciative clients. They truly do ROCK! :)

New Wedding Invitations - Teal and Orange and Tiffany Blue and Orange

Things have been pretty crazy of late, which is the reason for my lack in blog posts. I've been working hard to try and complete an invitation order, but of course, I ran out of toner so I decided to switch gears and work on some sample wedding invitations for some potential clients.
This is what I came up. Not much to say since I have to get back to work on all the other pending orders so, you can just enjoy a little eye candy for now. :) Orange and Tiffany Blue still seem to be a favorite among my brides. But I like the peacock blue, creme brulee and guava combination of colors. Very striking.

Kara & Rob - Wedding Programs and Jack & Jill Invites

My client Kara is absolutely in love with my work. I'm not trying to sound conceited or full of myself. It's to express a point, which is that when I have a client who loves what I do, they tend to find more things for me to create for them. The fact that they can just go to one source for everything is even better for the bride.
Kara asked me originally to do her invitations and her favors. She recently asked if I could do her wedding programs and her invitations for their Jack & Jill bridal shower and pigroast event. It's funny that this is the first time I ever heard the expression for a bridal shower called "Jack & Jill". Thanks for educating me Kara! LOL... ;)So I told her I would create something and I've been so busy with trying to get orders done that she asked how it was going and I committed to her that I would get it done tonight. So...here's what I came up with for her programs and her invitations. I just love these two colors together. Well, I have to get moving on another invitation sample, but I promise this will be the last post for today! LOL..

Peacock Blue and Orange Invitations

A potential client called me to ask me about my wedding invitations and favors. She liked the Mae & Jeremy wedding invitations, but her colors are a delphinium blue and orange. Kara sent me pics of her bridesmaid dress and they were almost a royal blue color which I didn't have something close to what she was looking for. She was drawn to this deep peacock teal blue and I think this is one of my new favorite color combinations. It's punchy and bold, but elegant.
I'm interested to see if she likes the color combination and goes ahead with the invitation order. She's also considering favor boxes to serve as the favor and the place cards for her guests. That's also a great way to save money, combining the favor tag and the place card/seating card all into one!
