Name this flower and you could win a zenatona print!

Before I start working on my flowers, I'm letting you know about a contest of sorts. My good friend Debbie Friedrich of www.zenatona.etsy.com is offering this beautiful "Frida" canvas art print to the first person who can name what flower it is. Hint, I already tried guessing hibiscus... NOPE!
Anyway, if you have a twitter account, direct message Debbie of zenatona @www.twitter.com/zenatona. Debbie is doing this in honor of Earth Day! I currently have 4 of Debbie's prints and 2 more are on the way! I can't get enough of her bursts of amazing color and happiness! :)

Is it a peony?

The answer was "red canna lily"! Man it was a tough one!

That was a lot of fun! Thank you for all your support and playing the contest. I really goes along with the whole foundation of zenatona - stop to notice nature.
"frida" will be a wonderful addition to your collection ;)
Happy Earth Day! Love, Deb

It definitely goes to show that you can't judge a flower by its cover. :) It looks like it could be so many different flowers, but now that I know what a red canna lily looks like, I see all the details you captured in the flower! Thank you! :) Your zenatona art pieces are deeply treasured. :)

I would have guessed BEGONIA! (Canna lilies don't grow well here)
Guess I better brush up on my flowers to play the game!
