Lilac Boutonniere to Match the Bouquet

This morning I finished working on Andrea's fiance's boutonniere. She wanted an all lilac boutonniere with no greenery and matching periwinkle blue ribbon. It's simple but lush.
I love making lilacs but also dread it at the same time just because it's so many flowers and buds, but once I get into the groove of making them it doesn't seem so bad.
One more bridal bouquet left to work on for a very special friend of mine. Hope to share photos next week.

  2. Thank you Lissa for all your sweet comments and for following my blog. :) Yes, lilacs are time consuming, but I do enjoy them when I see the finished result. Sometimes the most beautiful flowers can be the ones with the most components.:) Wait until you see the next bouquet...

  3. GORGEOUS! I've been having great difficulty choosing colors (I knew for sure I wanted periwinkle to be involved) and this is it! What other flowers are in the bouquet?
